A place to acknowledge and compile the passing of legendary figures. I don’t think we have this thread yet.

Lawrence O’Donnell put together a series of retweets about Bill Russell, which is worth checking out. Here’s another couple or three.

Haven't kept up with the passing of giants.

Or, even with Prince associates, such as Kirstie Alley (who plays the reporter, Vanessa Bartholomew, in the segues on the symbol album), who died in December 2022.

Here's an article with a selection of recordings of Jeff Beck, who passed away Tuesday, from bacterial meningitis.

And, Tal Wilkenfeld, who played bass on Prince's Welcome to America, played with Jeff Beck.

When I was young, this was the Jeff Beck album I listened to.

R.I.P. to one of my heroes(on and off the football field) and one of the greatest NFL players ever. There's LT, Jim Brown, Jerry Rice, then everyone else.

Jim Brown, Ali, Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson, Kareem....I was so fortunate to have these men as my sports heroes growing up.

My thumbs up was for Jeff Beck, the musician. Not for his death. His passing is a great loss.
