He looks terrible. I wish he wouldn't have gone back there.Hard to see a way out for him.

Last week the 44-year-old politician ended his three-week hunger strike after finally being examined by non-prison doctors after weeks demanding independent medical treatment for a number of complaints.
The hearing on Thursday was on Navalny's appeal of his February conviction on defamation charges for insulting a Russian World War II veteran...
In my nine years in the Senate, I’ve received $2.6 million in contributions from corporate political-action committees. Starting today, I no longer accept money from any corporate PAC. I urge my GOP colleagues at all levels to do the same.Read this tweet carefully. Ted Cruz has just said the quiet part out loud:
I, Ted Cruz, admit that I have been taking kickbacks and bribes from corporations in order to get rid of regulations and to give tax breaks to those same corporations that gave me the kickbacks and bribes. However, since they have come out against anti-voting laws, I will no longer take their kickbacks and bribes and will not vote for deregulations and tax breaks when they want, unless they give me what I want and that is to stop going against the anti-voting laws. You stop scratching my back and I'm going to stop scratching yours. (***Note the "we may not" ... if you change your ways now and make amends that we can go back to business as usual and screw the little people.)In my nine years in the Senate, I’ve received $2.6 million in contributions from corporate political-action committees. This will probably last about 10 minutes - I hope somebody is keeping track of the PAC money Mr Cancun turns down.
Unfortunately, Liz will lose her leadership role. I don't think, if McCarthy wants to keep Trump's endorsement, that he has any other choice. Maybe he talked with her and hoped she would get on board, not realizing that Cheney appears to have a sense of ethics that Trump couldn't corrupt. Will Liz Cheney be dealt the fatal blow? Possible May 12th vote to oust and replace her with Trump ho Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) or another woman.
yahoo.com Most members recognize Cheney can't be succeeded by a white man, given their top two leaders — House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Ca) and House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La) fill that demographic.
"I think she's got real problems," McCarthy told anchor Steve Doocy off-air, according to Axios. "I've had it with ... I've had it with her. You know, I've lost confidence. ... Well, someone just has to bring a motion, but I assume that will probably take place," appearing to refer to a motion to remove Cheney from her leadership role.

Will Donald Trump Be Permanently Banned From Facebook? A Decision Is Due This Week
...Now the Oversight Board — which received more than 9,000 public comments about Trump’s status at Facebook — said it would announce its decision in the matter on Wednesday, May 5, at around 9 a.m. ET.
Critics have long called on Facebook and other platforms to ban Trump to stop the spread of misinformation and inflammatory rhetoric. Conservatives have blasted moves to deplatform Trump as infringing his political speech...
Wow, you nailed that that translation benni! You could moonlight at GOP Rosetta Stone.I, Ted Cruz, admit that I have been taking kickbacks and bribes from corporations in order to get rid of regulations and to give tax breaks to those same corporations that gave me the kickbacks and bribes. I fear things will worsen immediately if they let his ass back on.I've a feeling that Facebook is going to let him come back. I could very well be wrong, but I think Zuckerberg will believe he's good for the Facebook brand.

This pretty much says the danger is not passing any time soon. The gop are going to continue to peddle the Big Lie. From TPM, 5.5.21:^^ House Rep on TV today, forget who, made some good points. Facebook should continue to block Orangetrash until it is evident that the danger has passed. Since he's still touting "The Big Lie" - the danger has not past. Also, if the Repubs don't recognize Biden as the legit President, then WHY are they whining that he won't work with them? Not one Repub voted for his Covid relief, which benefits everyone. But Dems did cross the aisle to vote for Trump's Covid relief.
Adding a link to the Oversight Board's webpage with the document explaining their decision:
The FEC was hamstrung at some point during the t---- admin. It was left without a quorum until a few days before the 2020 election and couldn't vote on anything as a result so cases were backlogged. I dug up an article on that topic:The decision has effectively allowed Trump to squirm away from any potential legal consequences arising from the inquiry over his alleged role in the hush-money scandal.

Trump’s now former personal lawyer and fixer, Michael Cohen, meanwhile, was sentenced to prison in 2018 for breaking campaign finance laws, tax evasion and lying to Congress.
