There’s a lot of good content to read / watch right now. I post a lot from Meidas Touch b/c it’s so easy to link to YouTube and less easy to link to podcasts. Also, a lot of their commentary is done in relatively short clips.

This one is an interview with A Canadian MP, Charlie Angus. He speaks about t0000’s suggestion that Canada become part of the U.S. He also talks about the state of democracy in Canada and the ‘maple 🍁 MAGA’.

Wellman talking about the fires and about the misinformation / disinformation being pedaled from the right wing / maga republicans who never have the decency to restrain themselves, even in the case of a disaster of such magnitude. Everything is evaluated in terms of opportunity for political gain, lying and falsehood completely fair game.

Roughly, this one is about Ukraine, national security, and bending the knee. MAGA Mike Johnson, Speaker of the House just fired the leading member of the House Intelligence Committee, Republican Mike Turner . . . Because requests coming from the mar-a-lago compound - some vague designation like that. Not willing to say t0000 or mump or trusk or whoever. Act as their lieutenant or lose the speakership.

Tons and tons of misinformation! Expert after expert has said THERE WAS NO WAY TO FIGHT A FIRE STORM GOING 100 MPH! And as for the water? Urban water supplies are not at the ready to battle such huge fires - 4 of them - all at once! They said maybe 2, but not 4. I lived in Cali my whole life and there was in fact a rainy season from Nov through March - only in the last 10 years or so did we have nearly rainless years. Climate change is real.

And now a big concert with lots of artists (some from or who live in LA) is being organized and of course the posts are met with "errrrrrahhhhh..... what about Carolina? eeeerrrrrahh..... what about Florida?"

It also addresses the circumstances of the moment, the fragility of t0000’s support, and how to message the truth better! In a climate where truth can feel beside the point. Those events occurred during the Biden administration, guided by a man who was president for all Americans. I’d have to go do some research but I assume those disasters were met with full government support for relief and rebuilding (without onerous strings attached or loyalty tests). Recollect that, even then, t0000 and his media supporters undermined relief efforts with lies and misinformation that caused people to refuse help, endangered rescue teams and more. With California, the script has flipped. We’re talking now about how t0000 will aid these hard-hit communities. His response will be another animal altogether and an ugly display it will be (already is).

Hmmm. . . 🤔 We don’t know what t0000 will do. I was pretty sure he would pardon the violent insurrectionists of January 6th, 2021. If you listen to the video in the previous post, it’s looking like that’s not the case.

Here, on the topic of immigration and the undocumented, who t0000 promised to deport en masse, his supporters who rely on immigrant labor are saying ‘but not the immigrant labor we rely on!’ I guess we’ll see how deportations will play out for real, since the inauguration is tomorrow!

I wonder how many of the campaign promises will come to pass and how many of these things were ploys to get MAGA to vote for t0000. Mainly, it’s starting to look more like the emerging reality will be multi-billionaire tech bros circling the queen bee 🐝 and an effort to destroy our government and install the design outlined by Project 2025, a Christo-fascist vision (I haven’t actually read it. I meant to look at the chapters and read first and last paragraphs). But I am aware of some of the weird undercurrents, like the Dominionists and the 7 mountains [digression about these extremists: Who are the Dominionists backing conservative candidates? [Northeastern Global News]. Btw, I don’t know much about this website but the url ends with northeastern.edu, so I think it’s probably reputable). Anyway, there are a few forces steering this t0000 ship. And I haven’t even mentioned the international interferers playing with t0000 to carry out their own agendas. Who some of the tech bros seem to have a fondness for. What a swirling sirocco or Simoom of contenders to sway the soon-to-be president.

I could not bear to see one minute of the proceedings that occurred in Wash D.C. yesterday. Not one minute. God willing, Dems will take the majority in the House in 2026 and there will not be too much damage to reverse. Still - the Dems NEED TO GET THEIR MESSAGE OUT!!!! THEY NEED TO LISTEN to what concerns their constituents! I was reading about Biden's accomplishments which were not SOLD well to the public during the election. And all in spite of this:

31.78% voted for Trump
30.84% voted for Harris
1.06% voted third party
36.33% DID NOT VOTE
