I haven't watched any of this yet, just listened to the very start of Week 18. Thought you all might be interested, if you haven't come across it already. Plus, you can find the '7 polished solid symposia & 4 special events' recordings here.

As I post this, I'm coming across related links:

De Angela Duff's website
And, her bio from that site:
De Angela L. Duff is an Associate Vice Provost at New York University and Industry Professor in Integrated Design & Media (IDM) at NYU Tandon. She also curates music symposia as polished solid, including the upcoming Prince #EroticCity40 Symposium (2024) celebrating 40 years of Prince’s Purple Rain, The Time’s Ice Cream Castle, Sheila E.’s The Glamorous Life, and Apollonia 6’s eponymous debut and Prince #Come30 Virtual Symposium (2024) celebrating 30 years of Prince’s Come; writes about music; speaks and presents internationally on music, design, and technology at conferences, events, radio, and podcasts; produces and co-hosts What Did Prince Do This Week? #WDPDTW a weekly online book club series; and leads workshops on time and project management. You can view her past and present work at polishedsolid.com or subscribe to her newsletter at polishedsolid.substack.com.

What Did Prince Do This Week?
The 'About' for this website reads:
What Did Prince Do This Week? #WDPDTW is an interactive, online, weekly book club, every Saturday at noon ET on @polishedsolid on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch to discuss with YOU what Prince did during the parallel week, beginning in 1983.
It is a very, very slow read of Prince and the Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions: 1983 and 1984 (Expanded Edition) by Duane Tudahl over the course of two years. Yes, it is a commitment, but we’ll read the book in very short, digestible, bite-sized chunks! Here’s the schedule.
We’ll then move on to Duane’s 2nd book, Prince and the Parade and Sign O’ The Times Era Studio Sessions: 1985 and 1986. And, in four years, Duane’s 3rd book will most likely be released.
We are beginning this journey in January 2023! Hope some of you will be committed, brave, and crazy enough to join us on this very LONG journey!

Here's Week 19, showing 'Big Sexy', too. I haven't quite figured out who all is part of this series. Just posting to get it up here.

As mentioned above, in DeAngela Duff's bio:
"She also curates music symposia as polished solid, including the upcoming Prince #EroticCity40 Symposium (2024) celebrating 40 years of Prince’s Purple Rain, The Time’s Ice Cream Castle, Sheila E.’s The Glamorous Life, and Apollonia 6’s eponymous debut and Prince #Come30 Virtual Symposium (2024) celebrating 30 years of Prince’s Come.

The #EroticCity40 Symposium is scheduled for 12-14 April.

Here's the only link I have seen so far. There's not much information there. I've been watching this page for a couple of weeks and there's been no change. Hopefully, they'll post the link for signing up, soon and hopefully there will be a 'virtual' option. If not, you can usually find recordings on YT:

It was a virtual gathering for several years of covid-19. That might have changed. The Prince #EroticCity40 Symposium does not mention 'virtual', whereas the #Come30 Virtual Symposium does.

CSGS = Center for the Study of Gender and Sexuality.
I'm not sure of the date for the #Come30 Virtual Symposium.

Many thanks for this information & thread @barnswallow. & for the links. I'm watching right now.

SexyMF30 Virtual Symposium Presentation: Edgar Kruize's Four Chains

This is really something else. It gives so much dimension.. I am actually pretty blown away because the presenter connects everything & makes me think of other points & areas i certainly hadn't thought of before. [or seen!]

SexyMF30 Virtual Symposium Presentation Robert Loss' Prince's Comic Book Alter Egos, 1991-1994

That's the first i went for but I think the first video i listed here the way it goes into depth & reason & all connects beyond the movie. is just amazeballs.

Then this.
