For now, just post a link to this Timothy Snyder article.

The Logic of Destruction (And what to do about it) [Substack: Thinking About . . .;2.2.25]

Snyder is a Yale U. prof and an expert on authoritarianism and, also, on Ukraine. He has an article in the NYTimes today -somewhere (I can’t find it right now) - in which he compares riding on a train in Ukraine, where he is now, on his way to Zaporizhzha, to the wild train we Americans are riding. If I find it, I’ll put it here.

I’ve only recently joined Substack. Uh-oh. There’s a lot of interesting content there. I just saw 2 Dworkin Report articles I thought I’d put in here. Scott Dworkin gives the good news I need to hear and also reports on civil actions taking place around the country, things that I wouldn’t know about otherwise. Well, tbh, today’s the first time I’ve read his Dworkin Report.

Some Good News in a World of Trump’s Mayhem [The Dworkin Report;2.14.25]

More Good News That’s Bad for Trump [The Dworkin Report;2.15.25]

Here’s an account of some of the actions people are taking / can take.

Great News That’s Real Bad for Trump [The Dworkin Report (Substack);3.14.25]

Inside: Veterans protesting; Raskin encourages people to file FOIA requests concerning their private data and what’s up with it (a la doge). Governor Tim Walz on a tour of Town Halls around the country. And more. . . . for example the significance of the date 3/14, as a reference to the 14th amendment, section 3.
